Meet your coach...
Teri Cummings has experienced first hand what it is like to not be eating the right foods for your body, and the amazing transformation that can occur when simple lifestyle changes are made. In 2005 Teri was mis-diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This life-changing experience inspired her to change to a Gluten Free lifestyle, which freed her of all of her symptoms and she now has her vibrant health and energy back.
It was after this revelation that Teri was inspired to leave her job in the corporate field and go back to school at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She was taught by some of the best names in the wellness fields such as Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra, and became a Certified Holistic Health Coach in 2008. Along with teaching others how they can achieve their greatest health through food, she is also certified in Metagenics as a First Line Therapy Lifestyle Educator. Teri has appeared on NBC, and speaks regularly for Whole Foods Market as part of their “Health Starts Here” plant based eating program by teaching cooking classes and educational seminars. Teri is an advocate for the local chapters of the Connecticut Multiple Sclerosis Society and Juvenile Diabetes Association, and does regular talks with the groups to promote healthier lifestyles through food.
Teri recently moved to Portland, OR where she is continuing her coaching business as well as launching a line of Gluten Free comfort foods. She works with clients all across the US via phone, Skype or in person.
